What is Motion?

Motion is the deployment layer for humanoid robotics: an AI-powered platform that lets any manufacturer deploy and run humanoid robots without a robotics team. Motion trains the robot on your tasks, integrates it on-site, and trains your operators to work with it - leasing, insurance, maintenance and fleet software bundled into one monthly fee.

How we deploy

1. Assessed for fit - Send us a video of the task, or ask us to come have a look. We tell you if a humanoid can do it.
2. Delivered to your site - We ship the robot to your plant, unpack it and set it up on the line, ready to learn your task.
3. Recorded by your team - One of your people does the task wearing a headset camera. The robot learns from their recorded hand movements.
4. Taught by our operators - A Motion operator in a VR headset guides the robot remotely, through the robot's own cameras. Every cycle becomes training data.
5. Trained in simulation - The skill is practised again and again on a digital copy of your line, with conditions changed every run, until it is reliable.
6. Deployed on your line - The robot runs the task on its own. Our operators step in remotely, only when something unusual happens.
7. Safe around your team - Before go-live, the whole installation is checked against machinery safety and ISO standards. The robot slows and stops when people come close.
8. Managed from a tablet - Your team sees each robot's output and status on any tablet. It connects to your planning, production and warehouse software (ERP, MES, WMS).
9. Always supported - Our engineers monitor every robot and come on site for maintenance when needed, so your line keeps running.

FAQ

Which humanoid: wheels or legs, grippers or hands, and why not a simple arm?

We pick the robot per task during the assessment, across all major makers. If a fixed arm does the job better, we tell you.

What can it do today, and what if my task isn't feasible yet?

Picking, packing, palletising, machine feeding and line-side logistics. If a task isn't ready, the assessment says so and what would need to change.

How does it learn my task, and when does it run on its own?

Your team records the task, our operators teach the robot in VR and it practises in simulation. Most deployments run autonomously within 12 to 15 weeks.

What does it cost, and how do I make the case to my CFO?

One monthly fee for the robot, software, insurance and maintenance, with a lease length that suits you and no upfront cost. We build the business case with you after the assessment.

Is it safe next to my team, certified and insured?

We run the risk assessment and certify the full deployment to machinery safety rules and ISO standards. The robot slows and stops when people come close, and insurance is included.

Who maintains and repairs it, and am I locked in?

We do: our engineers monitor every robot and are on call. Lease terms are flexible and we work with several robot makers, so you are never tied to one.
